This article explains how to set up a product timer with Andy. To do this, you need to access the Control Panel. Once inside, click on Settings > Labeling > Products. On this screen, you can view existing products and create new ones
Andy provides default Statuses and Categories. If you need to modify or create new categories and statuses, check these two articles before creating product timers:
Create, Delete, Activate/Deactivate Product Statuses
Create, Delete, Activate/Deactivate Product Categories
Once categories and statuses are defined, in the top right corner of the Control Panel, click on ➕ to generate a new product timer. Inside the product creation screen, fill in the required information: Name, product code (optional), category, location (venues where the product is available), and note.
After completing these fields, configure the Product Timer at the bottom of the page. To do this, click on ➕. The information to complete is as follows. For a more detailed explanation of each field, each section contains a dedicated article about its functions:
Label design
Status
Expiration time
Type: whether it’s a physical label or a timer. If both configurations are required, select both.
Custom fields: notes to add to the product
If the product requires more than one status, click on ➕ again and complete the necessary information.
Once configured, click Save.
