Product Timers are a tool in the Andy App designed to ensure proper food management, guaranteeing compliance with food safety and efficiency in handling. By using digital labels and colors, the status of each product is tracked from the moment it is opened until its final state.
To generate a product timer, click on Create in the top right corner, and select the corresponding product:
After clicking and entering the quantity and batch (if required), Andy manages this tracking using alert colors, allowing quick identification of the status:
Green: Product ready to use
Yellow: Warning that the product is close to expiring
Red: Expired product, must be discarded
Blue: Product not ready to use (in the process of defrosting or tempering)
At the top, you can search for or view products according to the categories they were assigned, making product organization and management easier.
Each product contains statuses assigned in its configuration. In this example, the following statuses are displayed:
Opening: The start of tracking.
Display Case: The product is on display for sale or self-service, ready for customer consumption.
Gastro Table: The product is available for immediate use.
Discard: Expired product that must be disposed of.
To transfer a product to the table:
Select the product.
Enter the quantity and required information.
Click the Move to Table button.
Only products marked Green or Yellow can be moved to the table. Products marked Blue are not ready for use and cannot be moved.
To print the label associated with a product:
Select the product.
Click Print.
There are two ways to delete products:
Individually:
Select the product.
Click Delete.
In bulk:
Press and hold a product and select additional ones.
You can also delete all products in the same status.
