How do I set up an Operational Timer?

To configure Operational Timers in Andy, you must first access the Control Panel. Once inside, it is recommended to first create categories so that each Timer can be assigned its corresponding category, allowing you to efficiently organize Operational Timers in Andy. To do this, go to Settings > Operational Timers > Categories and click on Create.

After clicking on Create Category, simply assign a name, order, and color to the category, then click Save:


Once the category is created, on the same screen under Settings > Operational Timers, click on Create. The following screen will then appear:

Fields to configure:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Category

  • Order

  • Locations: allows you to assign the timer to specific venues.

  • Log: allows you to generate a log and require a signature to complete the timer.

  • Alarm Configuration: allows you to set how often the timer repeats (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly) and whether it does so at fixed or specific times:

    • Fixed hours

    • Specific times

Once all fields are completed, to generate this timer you must click Save.
