How to configure food labels with Andy

Your first step to printing food labels with Andy is creating the product’s status.

Go to Settings Products > Status and click on Create Status.

Enter a Name for the status and set the Priority (the order in which it will appear in the Andy App).

You can also edit the name and status of the products by clicking on one of them.

In addition to statuses, you also need to create multiple categories to group products according to their type. Go to Settings > Products > Categories and click on Create Categories. Choose a NameColour and Priority (the orden in which it will appear in the Andy App).

Once you’ve completed these two steps, you can now proceed to create the specific product.

Go to Settings Products  and click on Create Products. Enter the product name, select the category it belongs to, choose a suggested image or import one from your device, and assign it to a specific store/s if necessary.

To find the configuration of your product’s status, go to the bottom of your screen.

What do you need to know about the configuration of a product's status?

  1. Label Design: Andy presents different label formats which differ in the fields to be completed either manually by a team member and/or automatically by Andy.
  2. Status: The status of a product indicates the action that needs to be taken in relation to a product and it must be clarified in advance. It will appear on the label with the automatic date and time.
  3. Expiration: This refers to the time in minutes, days, hours, months, or years it takes for the product to expire once opened, i.e., its secondary expiration.
