Print food labels offline

Andy allows you to print food labels if you do not have an Internet connection. The procedure is the same as that ofprint with connectionexcept for a final step.

1. In the main menu, tap on theTags.

If you see a message from:"The printer is not yet configured", follow the steps in the following articles according to your device:
  1. Set up the printer on Android device
  2. Configure the printer on PC-Windows.

2. Look for the product or food for which you need a label.

To perform this search you can use the options that allow you to filter the products:
  1. Bycategorieslocated on the left side.
  2. Byproduct stateslocated at the top.
Or just scroll between the products you have available.


3. Select the desired product



4. During thelabelling process, you'll see at the topthe stepsto be completed according to the selected product and at the top right thepreviewof the content of the label.

The automation of labelling with Andy makes it easier for some fields to be introduced automatically, such as:
  1. The acronym for the user who prints the label
  2. The conservation status of the product
  3. The date of printing
  4. Automatically calculated expiry times

4. In the last step, indicanumber of labelsto print.
5. You can review thepreview of the labelto ensure that the information is correct.
6. 6. PressPrint.Your selection will be sent to print and then you will return to the page ofTagsto start over if you need to label more products.

Once this point has been reached, the impression has materialized in the same way as with an Internet connection. However, so thatControl Panelthe print data are updated, it is necessary to retrieve theInternet connectionso thatAndy automatically updates the impressions made onoffline.

There is also the possibility of updating these changes manually, addressingConfiguration > Statusand click onSync now. The text indicates the changes pending synchronized that took place when no connection was available.
