Link Printer on Windows from Andy

 
To print labels from Andy on Windows, make sure that:

1. You have installed the necessary Driver, b-PAC and extension as detailed in the article: Installing the Brother Printer for PC Windows
2. The printer is connected to the computer via USB.


To configure the printer on PC from Andy, follow these steps:

1. From Windows, open the file explorer 2. Create a new folder in the directory you want, and call it "Andy". For example, if you created the folder on the C drive, the path of this folder will be "C:\Andy".


To configure the printer on PC from Andy, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Andy application.

  2. From the main menu go to Settings  > Printer.
Alternatively, if you enter the Labeling function for the first time, a message will be displayed "The printer is not yet configured". If you click on "Let's go" it will redirect you to the section to configure the printer.

3. Click to download each of the templates.

   4. Once the templates are downloaded, move these downloaded files to the previously created Andy folder.

5. Enter the path of the Andy folder you created (for example: C:\Andy). To do this, enter the folder and click on the path at the top. Now copy the path and paste it in section 2 where it says: "Enter the path of the folder here".






7. Give the printer a name and click on Save configuration.

Ready! You printer is now connected to Andy!
