Printer error codes and how to troubleshoot them

Incompatible printer model

  • Reconfigure the printer by selecting the appropriate printer model

E-C02 

Connection failure with the printer

Failed to retrieve the printer's status

IP address and/or MAC nor configured

Unsupported file type

E-C06

Incorrect information in the custom paper configuration file

E-C07'

No file exists with the specified template key E-C08

Template not found in the selected printer

Connection failure
  • Make sure the printer is turned on

  • Make sure Bluetooth is connected

  • Disconnect Bluetooth from all devices except the one you want to print from

  • Move the tablet/mobile closer to the printer (out of Bluetooth range)

  • Disconnect Bluetooth from paired iOS devices if trying to print from Android

  • Restar printer and device

  • Restore printer's factory setting and volver a Link Brother Printers to Andy once again

  • Reconfigure the printer by selecting the appropriate printer model

  • Replace the label roll with a new one

  • Check that the label roll is correctly placed

  • Ensure that the printer has proper ventilation

  • Check that the printer is not placed in an enclosed space

  • Wait for overheating to subside

Power error or empty paper tray

  • Check that the label roll is correctly placed

  • Replace the label roll with a new one

No paper-cassette



  • Insert the labels correctly
