Activating your Zebra Printer's Bluetooth mode

To configure the printer for the first time with Andy (either via Bluetooth or WiFi), follow this step:

  • Ensure that the iOS or Android device is Bluetooth enabled.
  • Access Settings > Bluetooth on the device and pair the printer.

Note that the printer can only be linked to one device at a time. If you have difficulties pairing it, please ensure that it is not paired with other devices by temporarily deactivating your Bluetooth connection.

Configuring your Zebra Printer via WIFI
Is your Wifi connection good?
Then, we recommend printing via WiFi for faster performance.
Follow these steps:

From Andy > Settings > Printers, select a current configuration, or choose "Add Printer."

  1. Select your printer's model.
  2. Choose Wi-Fi as printing method.
  3. Select the printer from the list of devices.

If the printer does not appear on the list, review the "Pair Printer" section.

  1. Enter the network name and password (ensure these are the ame as the connected device's network).
  2. Provide an identification name for the printer and click Save.

The printer will restart. This could take up to one minute.

Pairing the Zebra Printer via BLUETOOTH
From Andy > Settings > Printers, select a current configuration, or choose "Add Printer."

  1. Select your printer's model.
  2. Choose Bluetooth as printing method.
  3. Select the printer from the list of devices.

If the printer does not appear on the list, review the "Pair Printer" section.

  1. Assign the printer a name and click on Save.

The printer should be linked within 5-10 seconds.

Selecting your Zebra Printer in Andy
After having configured your Zebra printer via WiFi and Bluetooth, you can choose your preferred printing method.

On the configured printer, click the button and Set as default.

Due to Bluetooth limitations on iOS, if you want to print from an Android device, you must deactivate the iOS device's Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth > Disable. If you want to print with iOS again, activate Bluetooth and you're ready to go.

Done! You have successfully connected the Zebra printer with Andy, and you can now start labelling!
