Setting up alerts on the Andy App

Andy is the ideal kitchen companion to make sure that no processes in your kitchen go off track. However, things can go wrong, and when they do, Andy is there to alert your teams.

To set up the appropriate alerts, simply go to Andy's Control Panel > Settings > Templates Click on the section where you want to add the alert (tasks, records, incidents, audits) > and Press + Create Template (or modify an existing one by clicking on it).

First of all, Create the item.

Let's take Checking the temperature of Refrigerator 1 as an example.

To generate the alert, we click on Add Condition.

In this case, we want Andy to notify us "when the temperature of Refrigerator 1 is below 0°C or above 4°C".

Next, click on Show Alert.

And select the Type of alert you want: informative, alert, or error.
Proceed to write the alert's message.

Ready! This is how the three types of alerts would look on the Andy APP, arranged by AlertInformative and Error.

To resolve these alerts, you can Activate an action plan.
