How to convert a template from one tool to another?
In Andy it is possible to turn one template created into a specific tool (such as tasks, records, incidents or audits) to suit another. This function is very useful when you need to use the same template structure, modifying the sections and items that were needed, so you do not have to start from scratch and thus speed up template settings.
To convert a template, you must first access theControl Panel. Once you log in, tap onConfigurationandselect the templateyou want to convert.
The status of the template needs to bein Draftin order to convert the template.If it is in another state, you can switch it to draft without saving the changes:
With the template in statedraft, in the upper-right corner, you must click on
>Convert:
Once tapped, choose the target tool (e.g. from log-to-task). Andy will be responsible for adjusting the format and fields of the template by adapting them to the target tool to maintain structure and content:
Once converted, it modify the necessary sections and items and check that everything is in order. If necessary, you can make additional adjustments to make the template perfectly fit your needs in the new tool.
