How does the "Not applicable" tool work on the Andy App?

At Andy, we understand that unexpected events can occur during your teams' workday, disrupting the routine of their HACCP tasks. To address this in the most efficient way possible, Andy allows you to mark an item as Not applicable.

To do this, go to Control Panel Settings > Templates > Access the corresponding template > Template Properties > Not applicable.

If an item is marked as "Not applicable", it will become optional. However, if an item is not marked as "Not applicable", it will be mandatory.
This can affect the completion of an entire template, as items without the "Not applicable" tag will be essential to complete in order to close an Incident or save a Record.
On the Andy App, if an item is mandatory, the item is shown with an asterisk (*). On the other hand, if the item does not apply, it will show as optional, in parentheses.

Now, to complete the template, go to the Andy App, and look for that particular template. Clicking on     will mark an item or section as Not Applicable. The following message will appear:

This feature ensures that the "Not applicable" status of the item in question is permanent and is reflected every day.

This can be useful for when an item has not been executed for a few days due to machinery breakdown or any particular situation that prevents that part of the task from being carried out.
To be able to mark again whether it has been completed or not, you must click on   for the following message to appear:

Remember that Andy always gives you the option to have the change reflected only today, by clicking on "No, only now", or to have it repeated in the coming days, by clicking on "Yes, remember it".

And that's it!
