Where do you find the serial number on your Brother printers?
You can find your printer’s serial number following these simple steps:
The serial number ("SER.NO") is located on a label attached to the back of the printer or inside the label roll compartment or the tape cassette compartment.
For instance:
Models with label rolls (QL, etc.)
Models with tape cassettes (PT, etc.)
Models with roll cassettes (VC)
When entering the serial number of your printer:
If your serial number has nine (9) characters, enter the complete number.
- If your serial number has fifteen (15) characters, enter the last nine (9) characters. If there is a hyphen (-), enter the nine (9) characters that follow it.
For example: For "E00000 - A1B23C456," enter "A1B23C456."
