Rmoni C60 gateway network requirements

How to ensure Internet connectivity for the Rmoni C60

The Rmoni C60 gateway sends the data collected by the sensors to the Rmoni cloud. To operate correctly, it requires power and a stable Internet connection, either via Ethernet or WiFi.

Before installation

Ethernet connection

  • Make sure an active network port is available and connected to the network switch.

WiFi connection

  • Make sure the WiFi network is available and working correctly.

  • Have the network name (SSID) and password ready before starting the installation.

During installation

Check the gateway LED indicators:

  • Orange LED (network): should remain continuously lit.

  • Green LED (server): will flash for a few seconds while establishing the connection. Once successfully connected, it will remain solid green.

Network requirements for IT

IP configuration

The gateway uses DHCP by default, so a static IP address is not required.

MAC address

Use the Ethernet MAC address specified in the device documentation.

Important: do not use the Zigbee label located on the side of the gateway as the network MAC address.

Firewall configuration

The network must allow the following outbound communication:

ALLOW [RAW TCP] from [internal IP] to 31.193.179.33 at port 3350

  • Destination IP: 31.193.179.33

  • Destination port: 3350

  • Protocol: TCP

Data usage

Data usage is minimal: less than 100 bytes every 5 minutes.

WiFi requirements

WiFi networks that require users to sign in or accept terms on a web page to access the Internet are not supported.
