The following steps will show you how to pair a Brother TD-2125dnwb printer with an Android device.

InfoBefore starting the process, please read this article to find out which Printers are approved for labelling with Andy

Activating the printer's Bluetooth mode

On the printer itself, make sure that Bluetooth Mode is enabled. Complete the following steps to activate it:

  1. Turn on the printer by pressing  until the green light is solid.
  2. Now the STATUS   indicator should flash a green light, this means that BT is activated. If not, press the button for 5 seconds to reactivate it. If the light is red and flashing, repeat the process.


Pairing the printer with an Android device  
1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth 
2. Search for available devices and select your Printer model.
3. Enter the PIN to pair the printer. The PIN is: the last 4 digits of the name that appears "TD-2125NXXXX".
AlertIf a name with this format DOES NOT appear, enter the last 4 digits of the printer's serial number.                    
 

Pairing the Brother printer with Andy 
InfoIf you enter the Labelling tool for the first time without configuring it, you will see the message "The printer is not yet configured". Click on "Let's do it!" and it will take you to the Printer Configuration section.
 From the Main Menu go to Settings  >  Printer and:

1. Select the printer model you are using
2. Select from the list of Bluetooth-paired devices your printer model. (If your previously paired printer model does not appear, check that you have accepted the permissions. To do this, go to your device Settings > Apps > Andy > Permissions > accept all permissions, it is essential to accept the NEARBY DEVICES permission)
3. Give the printer a name (optional)
​4. Click Save


¡Your printer is now connected to Andy and you can start labelling your food!
