Are your labels not printing correctly when using the Andy App?

Labels are badly printed

If the labels are printed incorrectly, you should check two key aspects:

Label roll placement

To ensure correct label printing, first check how the label roll is positioned. To do so, follow the steps shown in the following video:

Print head cleaning

If your labels are printed with blurry or broken text, you will need to perform a print head cleaning. Follow the steps shown in the following video:

Sensor

Another key component for proper printing is the sensor. It is located inside the printer. Incorrect sensor positioning is a clear sign that printing is not being performed correctly.

Possible symptoms
  1. Label misalignment with the paper
  2. Printing blank labels
  3. On-screen message: Define the roll correctly
  4. Red status button

To avoid these situations, it is essential that the sensor is correctly positioned. To adjust it, you must first open the cover. Once opened, the sensor can be found at the bottom.
To position the sensor correctly, it must be moved until the arrows face each other, as shown in the following images:

The following video shows how the sensor should be positioned correctly:

Info
The key to correctly positioning the sensor is to hear a click when it is properly set. Adjust it until you hear the sound—this means the sensor is perfectly aligned.
If it still prints misaligned, do the following on the printer: Settings > Media > Calibration

Done! This correction confirms that the printing issue was caused by incorrect sensor positioning, a key component for proper label printing.
