Are your labels not printing correctly when using the Andy App?

My labels are printing incorrectly

At Andy, we are aware that labelling products is one of the most important tasks in your kitchen. That's why we go the extra mile to ensure that your labels are printed correctly and you can perform your tasks in the most effective possible way.

If the text on your labels appears blurry or fragmented, you may need to clean the printer's printhead. Find out  How to clean your printer

Another critical component for proper printing is the sensor, which is located inside the printer. Improper sensor placement is an evident sign that printing is not being done correctly.

Possible Symptoms
  1. Label misalignment with the paper
  2. Printing blank labels
  3. Status button in red

To prevent this type of incidents, it is essential to have the sensor correctly placed.

To ensure its proper placement, first open the lid and search for it at the the bottom of your printer.

If the arrows don’ align and they don’t face each other, you need to correctly position the sensor and move it until the arrows are facing each other:

The key to properly placing the sensor is to listen for a click when positioning it. Keep on adjusting it until you hear the sound, indicating that the sensor is perfectly aligned.

This simple adjustment confirms that the printing was not being done correctly due to the sensor's placement, a key component for proper label printing.
