Link the Brother TD-4550DNBW printer over the network from the browser

Below is a step-by-step explanation of how to print with Andy over the network from the browser, specifically from Google Chrome. The printers currently compatible with this feature are the Brother TD-2350, TD-4550DNWB models and the Zebra brand.

Before starting the process, please refer to this article about the printers certified for labeling with Andy.

Enable network mode on the printer

First of all, make sure the printer is connected via a network cable. Once connected, enable the wired network mode directly from the printer by following these steps:

1. Press Menu.

2. Select Wired LAN:

3. Select TCP/IP Settings:

4. Select Auto or Static (depending on whether you want to set a fixed IP address). If you select Auto, the assigned IP address can be checked at Menu > Wired LAN > Wired LAN Status.

It is important to write down the IP address shown, as you will need to enter it later in Andy

Link the printer with Andy

To be able to print from the browser, you must first use Google Chrome and have the Andy Printer Extension installed

Once the extension is installed and you access Andy, go to Settings > Printer > Add printer and follow these steps:

1. Select your printer model
2. Select the printing method NETWORK
3. Enter the IP address assigned to the printer
4. Click Save configuration

Done! Your printer is now paired and ready to print over the network from the browser.
