How do I make one task dependent on completing another?

Andy allows you to prevent a team member from completing a task until another task has been finalised. In other words, you can configure a task so that it can only be completed once you have completed a predetermined task.

It sounds a lot more complex than it is!

Simply access Andy's Control Panel and go to Settings > Tasks > Click on the corresponding task.

In the Template properties of the selected Task, locate the option of Task Dependence. Once you activate this function you will be able to tell Andy which task does this task depend on.

This function allows you to prioritise the completion of one task over another. For instance, you will not be able to complete a Closing Checklist task, unless you've completed the Opening Checklist tasks.

If you access a task that depends on the completion of another, Andy displays the message that you have to complete the task depending.

If you try to answer an item, a message appears that allows you to access the dependent task by clicking on View tasks to complete.
